Are you interested in Umpiring?
Burwood United Netball Club welcomes & supports all members who want to get involved in umpiring.
We encourage all of our Players to learn the skill of Umpiring, it is a great way to enhance your confidence and master the rules of the game.
We hold trainee courses throughout the year for 12 years old to Adults.
BUNC is responsible to provide umpires for every BUNC competition match and have opportunities for:

Junior trainee Umpires – 12 years +

Senior trainee Umpires – 18 years +

Experience Badged Umpires

Mentors for our Junior and Senior trainees

Supervisors on Game Day for our trainees
We match all our trainees with suitable mentors and supervisors to support them in their learning and to gain experience & confidence.
We can also assist every step of the way if you are interested in obtaining your Netball Australian accreditation and National badge.
All BUNC badged Umpires receive Game payments – so it’s also a great way to earn money doing something you enjoy!
We do expect that all Umpires (especially if in training) are respected, supported and encouraged at all times by all our players, coaches and their supporters.
As the saying goes, without umpires there could be no Netball games!
